A Styled Shoot at Sea

When I saw the mood board for this styled bridal session (and the vendor team!) I knew I had to find space in my busy summer schedule so I could participate - it was going to be the dreamiest coastal elopement ever! Scrolling on instagram, I saw a post by Kirby Makrevski recently that really resonated with me - why do established wedding vendors continue to work for free? It would be easy enough to say "content and marketing" but collaborating with other wedding vendors is so much more than that. It gives us wedding pros a chance to step back and refine our work. It gives us a chance to think outside the box, get creative and take risks. The energy in a room full of passionate business owners curating a labour of love is so inspiring - I could thrive off that energy all season long! And, like Kirby said, because we can always improve our work. For those reasons & more, I'll never stop accepting opportunities to create outside of a wedding day.. especially when it means recieving a gallery like this one!
